The Kount x Flamingosis x falcxne - Knock Knock
The funk is knocking at your door and you'd better answer it. These three artists make a great collab and are definitely three music makers, you should look out for.

GRiZ- Summer '97 ft. Muzzy Bearr
I saw GRiZ live in Tampa a couple years ago at a small venue. I recommend not standing so close to the stage. You'll be able to hear all of the instruments fully. Party on

YUNG BAE- Party In Me (YUNG BAE Edit)
I can not get enough of YUNG BAE's groovy tunes. Just makes me want to get on up and boogie. Who does not like to boogie anyways. You better watch out for YUNG BAE. This artist has such a distinct and charismatic sound. Very similar too another new artist called, Flamingosis. Keep it trill people. Hope you have a Heavily Funky Day!

Vulfpeck- 1612
A friend of mine showed me this groovy band not too long ago. And let me tell you, all my funky needs are now being met. FORD FOCUS. the lyrics do not even need to make sense for this track to sound good. Definitely check out another song Fuge State by them, also contains very much funk. I honestly can not fully describe the genre of their music. Let us know what you think of these guys!

MXXWLL- 4U
Little late on this one, however I really felt the urge to share this groovy track with you. MXXWLL kills it in this one. Stay tuned for more music, concert film, and festival lineups. Email us if you have some HEAVY music you think should be featured on the blog! (headphoneheavy.music@gmail.com)

Passion Pit - Where the Sky Hangs
Oh how I've missed you Passion Pit. Passion Pit dropping another song off of their album Kindred. Lifted Up (1985), their first release is also an awesome song. Check it out on (Youtube). It has been two years since Passion Pit released an album, I'm sure they have been working their pits off. A lot of HEAVY music coming out from all artists soon. Just makes you love music more than you already do. Cha Feels?

mura masa and yung bae - ...So I Wrote Her This Song and We Drank Monster and Watched Adventure Time
Have y’all seen the movie Under Cover Brother? If you
haven’t, I highly recommend it, and for those of you still following, bear with
me. Think back to the final sequence, When James Brown is Sayin it Loud, that’s
the lasting image I get in my head every time I listen to these two songs. The two-track
collaboration between Mura Masa and Yung Bae is everything I want in a song
plus more.

Flamingosis x Yung Bae - Groovin'
Let’s take it back like two months to a groovy little tune we found. Honestly, this one has been a real guilty pleasure for HeadPhoneHeavY as of late, and I’m a bit shameful to admit we held it from you guys for our own personal pleasure. We love our music here, almost as much as we love our readers, and that’s why sometimes we have to make certain you’re ready before we give you something this funky.

Big Gigantic- Winter Chill Mix
So it’s January 7th, you’re finally no longer hung over from your New Year’s festivities, and it’s about time to go about your daily life. But how can you when you’ve been raging so hard for so long?!?! (Insert boner jokes here). Big G has just provided the solution. The Winter Chill mix is just the remedy to keep you from relapsing and accidentally snorting a line off of Mildred’s tits in the cubicle one over. (Who could blame you, she was totally asking for it.)
BRONCHO- Class Historian
Little late on this one, like six months late. However, this song make me wanna jam. I don't have a problem with JAMMIN'.
