Donnie Trumpet & the Social Experiment - Sunday Candy "Short Film"

]

Chance The Rapper is the next messiah, I don't care what ya say. Chance has been on fire lately, coming out with "Sunday Candy" and "Heaven Only Knows". This short film/music video makes the track even better than it already is. This guy is really changing the game, but only because he is taking a Chance. Happy Sunday Candy you Jivin Turkeys.

Kazy Lambist - Doing Yoga

What’s up folks! I got some chill vibes to slow it down for all y’all crazy lunatics out there. “Doing Yoga” by Kazy Lambist is magical, the band hails from Montpellier, France a nation where we have been finding a lot of great artists from as of late. The song will be a part of their new album of the same name, which is available for pre-order now here (SoundCloud). “Doing Yoga” features some melodic synths with some really catchy male vocals laid over the top. So sit back, relax, spark up that doobie, and let these groovy guys put you in a trance.

Vulfpeck - It Gets Funkier & I Wish LIVE

Such a funky band. Love the hehe's

Stevie Wonder- I WIsh

Because why not.

YUNG BAE- Party In Me (YUNG BAE Edit)

I can not get enough of YUNG BAE's groovy tunes. Just makes me want to get on up and boogie. Who does not like to boogie anyways. You better watch out for YUNG BAE. This artist has such a distinct and charismatic sound. Very similar too another new artist called, Flamingosis. Keep it trill people. Hope you have a Heavily Funky Day!

Vulfpeck- 1612

A friend of mine showed me this groovy band not too long ago. And let me tell you, all my funky needs are now being met. FORD FOCUS. the lyrics do not even need to make sense for this track to sound good. Definitely check out another song Fuge State by them, also contains very much funk. I honestly can not fully describe the genre of their music. Let us know what you think of these guys!

Baby Blue ft. Chance The Rapper (Prod. Mark Ronson)

HeadPhoneHeavY has had this song on repeat! Like holy crap this song just caused an explosion of musical artistry in my brain. Action Bronson has been on his grind lately. Along with Chance The Rapper, who has been coming out with tons of experimental shit, which we love! Sounds like this help restore my faith in humanity. It's like they know exactly what we are all thinking. Be kind Rewind.

Electric Mantis- Infatuation

Heavy track we got ourselves here. Electric Mantis definitely infatuates me with this deep electronic music. Check it. Let me know your thoughts. OUT

MXXWLL- 4U

Little late on this one, however I really felt the urge to share this groovy track with you. MXXWLL kills it in this one. Stay tuned for more music, concert film, and festival lineups. Email us if you have some HEAVY music you think should be featured on the blog! (headphoneheavy.music@gmail.com)

mura masa and yung bae - ...So I Wrote Her This Song and We Drank Monster and Watched Adventure Time

Have y’all seen the movie Under Cover Brother? If you haven’t, I highly recommend it, and for those of you still following, bear with me. Think back to the final sequence, When James Brown is Sayin it Loud, that’s the lasting image I get in my head every time I listen to these two songs. The two-track collaboration between Mura Masa and Yung Bae is everything I want in a song plus more.

Flamingosis x Yung Bae - Groovin'

Let’s take it back like two months to a groovy little tune we found. Honestly, this one has been a real guilty pleasure for HeadPhoneHeavY as of late, and I’m a bit shameful to admit we held it from you guys for our own personal pleasure. We love our music here, almost as much as we love our readers, and that’s why sometimes we have to make certain you’re ready before we give you something this funky.

Ephemerals- You Made Us Change

Picture this: It’s 1975, your afro is looking fantastic, like Black Dynamite fantastic. You walk into this little bar and Al Greene, Marvin Gaye, and the Isley brothers are all jumping and jiving because there is this new sound that is so irresistible. It’s that really funky unky, the type of shit that makes you wanna wiggle and jiggle like gelatin.

BRONCHO- Class Historian

Little late on this one, like six months late. However, this song make me wanna jam. I don't have a problem with JAMMIN'.
